Hedy Holmes Staffing is seeking an Account Manager to assist Producers in the management and processing employee benefits. They will provide in-house customer service to clients as assigned and requested, while responding to client administrators and plan enrollees in a timely, efficient, and compassionate manner. They will manage relationships with expertise, acumen, and professionalism.
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm (Hybrid – remote and some office time required)
Account Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer questions, provide information, and create solutions.
- Assist in marketing new and renewed business, determine premiums, prepare proposals, and maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier.
- Monitor policy expirations and work with the Producer to secure renewal and/or new business information, while maintaining an expiration control log.
- Prepare open enrollment material, election sheets, rating spreadsheets, booklets, rate tables, SBCs, and any other pertinent material.
- Collect and process new enrollment materials and terminations through the year.
- Meticulously document all transactions in the agency management system.
- Engage in cross-selling and refer potential property and casualty accounts as appropriate in cooperation with the Producer.
Education:
- High School Diploma.
- College education (preferred).
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff on every level and is dedicated to a respectful and collegial work environment.
- Must be a self-starter and a lifelong earner, must display a degree of personal initiative.
- Has the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
- Constructive thinker.
- Must have a thorough understanding of employee benefits and individual health coverage.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with active listening skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Type 55 WPM.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for long periods of time.
