Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Account Manager is responsible for developing, optimizing, and leveraging the relationship between RCare and its channel partners. An Account Manager must possess excellent communication skills and have expert knowledge of the RCare product line, operations, and services. Working with their assigned Distributors (Accounts), they will grow the RCare brand and increase market share. It is the Account Manager’s responsibility to ensure channel partners are excellent representatives of RCare in all aspects of their business.
The Account Manager is also responsible for overseeing and facilitating sales for their assigned Accounts. They communicate targets and expectations, supporting and guiding the channel partner’s efforts to reach those goals. Remote work is encouraged, and strategic travel is required. The Account Manager is an expert in their industry and remains knowledgeable regarding the competition and their products and problems. As such, they attend industry trade shows, seminars, product launchings, and other events. They ensure that documentation of presentations, supplier contracts, price quotations and other paperwork are prepared, and all details related to prospects, channel partners, and end-user customers are recorded in CRM. They play a large role in RCare’s “go to market” strategy, ensuring new products are meaningful, and launches are well communicated and supported. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- As the main point of contact, the Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day relationship management and success of channel partners, and recording and managing their information in the CRM.
- Building, managing, and maintaining productive, professional relationships with key personnel and departments with current channel partners. Acting as a liaison between RCare and assigned channel partners.
- Working with channel partners to develop performance objectives. Facilitating partner strategy and planning surrounding the RCare product line. Evaluating performance and progress towards agreed upon goals and milestones.
- Ensuring technical viability of designs and quotes submitted by their distributors.
- Helping develop, support, and evaluate partner marketing, sales, technical, and training strategies to improve efficiency, sales, and retention.
- Coordinating the involvement of RCare personnel, including support, service, marketing, orders, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives.
- Working with distributor partners to develop inbound leads, enabling smooth and efficient handoff from RCare to partner.
- Gathering and managing distributor pipeline for cashflow and procurement.
- Enabling channel partners to effectively and accurately deliver RCare value proposition.
- Coordinating and at times facilitating distributor enablement training so to ensure channel partners develop RCare brand knowledge, skills and expertise. Ensuring distributors and their employees remain up to date on training and certified to sell, market, and service RCare.
- Facilitating positive end-user customer experiences by coordinating successful project implementations/installations and support between RCare team and distributors.
- Promoting and growing the RCare brand through educational webinars and industry reports.
- Strategic travel for tradeshows and industry events, new distributor onboarding, training, and key sales presentations.
- Networking to achieve good working relationships in all verticals of the senior care market.
- Assist with bringing new products to distributor network with appropriate marketing, resources, training, and support.
- Optimizing internal workflows and assisting in company initiatives/projects as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in a trade show or presentation setting.
- Ability to drive long distances and perform tasks on arrival.
- Ability to lift and haul up to 50 lbs (demos, trade show booths).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
