Are you an experienced Sales Superstar in the Loyalty Travel space? Do you love the thrill of closing complex, enterprise-level deals? Are you experienced in managing a sales cycle with complex integrations, multiple phases, and multiple buyer personas? If so, we’d love to talk with you.
This is a new role at Switchfly, focused on maximizing our go-to-market sales strategy. Switchfly is an established white label software travel e-commerce platform and this role will be driving net new deals in the global market. Never heard of Switchfly? We power some of the largest travel booking sites in the world like American Express, JetBlue Vacations, American Airlines and more. We have a saying at Switchfly – everyone who is here also wears a toolbelt. Everyone from the CEO down leads by example through doing - from calling on customers yourself, building reporting dashboards, training materials, building a pipeline, closing deals, and demonstrating an ability to get things done. This role is all about being on the front line, building your pipeline with active prospecting, and closing deals. You need to be a get “thing” done person for this role and thrive in growing a business.
In the end, you must be customer-obsessed and combine this with bold thinking about sales strategies, gaining customers, managing opportunities, and driving deals forward... This role is all about sales results: creating pipeline, managing deal process, and winning new business!
Job Responsibilities
- Close Deals! This is a ‘hunter’ role with revenue objectives.
- Learn and understand the Switchfly platform. This is a technical platform, so understanding complex technologies is critical.
- Believe that having whimsy at work is the #1 priority.
- Drive a predictable revenue sales development model.
- Forecasting of pipeline, success rates, MQLs, SALs, new logos, churn, win/loss reporting, etc.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree, or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years+ of industry expertise in, travel technology, loyalty/rewards technology and/or SaaS technology sales
- Demonstrated experience in building a pipeline and consistently closing deals. You will have all the support you need to win the deals. You will need to bring the drive and enthusiasm to succeed.
- Experience interacting with all levels of customer contacts through C-level.
- Ability to drive successful outcomes with prospects and customers.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative cross-departmental environment.
- Must be self-motivated, team-oriented, very responsible, and passionate about creating new customers.
- Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written
- Travel 20%
Salary Range
$120,000—$145,000 (Including base salary and Commission)
