Position Overview: As an Account Executive at Blue Sky EXP, you will drive business growth and establish lasting relationships with our clients. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts and identify new business opportunities to contribute to the company's overall success. Working closely with our Account Managers, Operation, and presale teams, you will act as the main point of contact for clients and ensure that their needs are met while promoting our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Identify and research potential clients within the target market.
- Proactively approach new prospects through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis and present tailored solutions to prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Understand each client's unique business needs and objectives.
- Regularly communicate with clients to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
Sales and Negotiation:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our products/services' value.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Analyze market data to identify emerging opportunities and potential areas for growth.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, sales metrics, and progress toward goals.
Customer Service and Support:
- Liaise with the customer service team to resolve client issues or inquiries promptly.
- Act as a client advocate within the company, representing their interests and needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, business, or a related discipline or equivalent sales experience.
- At least 5-10 years experience in tradeshow marketing environments.
- Proven track record of success as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role.
- Strong understanding of exhibit industry and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings or industry events.
