As our Account Executive, you will work closely with prospective customers and current customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique challenges and goals. You will coordinate with customers to propose solutions that will help them reach their business goals and blaze new trails within their organizations. Lastly, we expect you to build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and decision makers within their business, and become proficient at helping customers realize value from their investments.
You will use your business development skills to cultivate opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting. We expect you to build and maintain strong relationships with our vendor partners and account teams at Salesforce and collaborate with these resources to strengthen our mutual value positions to prospects and clients.

Responsibilities - You will:
- Identify and prospect new clients who use or will use the Salesforce for commerce solutions.
- Partner with our internal teams and colleagues at Salesforce to promote the Red Van vision and strategy.
- Create presentations, SOWs and documents that outline how a proposed solution meets a client’s needs.
- Close opportunities at assigned accounts and drive sales at new accounts.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and handoff sessions with our Services team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project kickoff.
- Review and assess project estimates, ensuring they are in line with proposed solutions.
- Present estimates and proposals to clients detailing how the project will meet their needs, while demonstrating a solid understanding of the client’s processes and objectives.
- Draft compelling proposals that effectively communicate the project scope, deliverables, and the value of our services.
- Collaborate regularly with our Services team to ensure alignment with resource capabilities, resource availability, and client expectations.
- Stay informed about the latest Salesforce trends, updates, and industry developments related to commerce to identify opportunities for service expansion and growth.
Ideally you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred and 6+ years of experience in selling related software solutions.
- Proven track record of successful sales within the Salesforce ecosystem, preferably selling integration services and deals over $1M.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM and other relevant sales tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including developers, architects, and project managers.
- Comfort with ambiguity.
Compensation:
- $100 - 300k in total compensation (base + variable)
