Sr. Account Executive - Arkansas Public Safety Solutions – Arkansas
Arkansas Public Safety Solutions (APSS), a Motorola Channel Partner located in Little Rock, AR is looking for Account Executive (AE). APSS serves State of Arkansas customers in state government agencies, county and city public safety agencies, K-12 schools, and Institutes of Higher Learning across the State of Arkansas. APSS engineers, implements, and maintains mission critical next generation video systems, Evolv Concealed Weapons Detection system, and Government and Business radio systems.
Job Location(s): Northwest AR, Central AR, Southern, AR (any city).
Sr. Account Executive – Job Description
The Account Executive will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Responsible for attainment of annual sales plan, account planning and overall relationship management for a number of K-12, Universities, Community Colleges, state, county and city government customers in a defined territories across Arkansas.
- Responsible to develop, implement and execute a comprehensive sales plan for each set of “target” accounts covering the full portfolio of Motorola Avigilon Video and Access Control systems, business radio solutions, software, and services.
- Ability to organize and communicate to the internal proposal team the customer’s needs and requirements in a detailed methodical way based on an established process.
- Act as a trusted advisor to influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and loyalty for Motorola radio and Motorola Avigilon solutions.
- Proactively engage and interface with Motorola solutions subject matter experts to demonstrate and sell Motorola Avigilon systems in the APSS markets.
- Develop strong relationships with decision makers within the assigned APSS markets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.
- The ability to learn and adopt strategic selling methodologies in your daily business.
- 1 to 3 years of demonstrated successful customer facing sales experience in the education or government market or a technical field is preferred .
- Applicants with education experience or administrative experience, (Principal, Assistant Superintendent, School Safety Director), are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Applicants Selling into State and Local government are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong time management skill and the ability to prioritize are keys to success.
- Willingness and ability to be a strong self-starter and spend time in the field making calls to identify and create sales opportunities in your assigned territory.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to craft and deliver persuasive presentations is critical.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office with average to above average computer skills.
- Must be willing to travel as required throughout the assigned territory.
Compensation
APSS includes a base salary commensurate with experience, a lucrative incentive plan, expense account, vehicle reimbursement expense, flex benefits, comprehensive training and on-boarding process for the right candidate(s).
