Job Description
19.04 - 24.52 - 29.99 USD Hourly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Works with clients and providers to satisfy appeals and any other issues they may have.
  • Works with Provider Data Management and Provider Services helping with back log when needed and fielding phone inquiries.
  • Participates in meetings with clients to insure overall client satisfaction

Client Responsibilities
This is an internal and external facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to; Respond promptly to PNOA's internal client needs; Solicit feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service in a timley manner; Meet commitments; Manage difficult situations
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma; a minimum of 3+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous third-party administrator, healthcare or managed care experience preferred.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have expert skills of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines. Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and concrete way in front of an audience. Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions.

Work Location
This position works on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or other company location (or from a remote location with management approval based on business requirements). Must provide adequate support to internal clients; be available for regular interactions and coordination of work with other employees, colleagues, clients, or vendors; as well as be available to facilitate effective decisions through collaboration with stakeholders.
Working Hours
This is a full-time non-exempt position requiring one to be able to work overtime from time to time in order to get the job done. Therefore, one must have the ability to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required. This may be changed at any time to meet the needs of the business. The typical working hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Travel
This position requires up to 35% travel to collaborate with MedImpact finance and MHW and its subsidiaries' teams located in San Diego and to manage staff in other locations. Additional travel may be required to interface with vendors, potential clients or partners.
