Access Control Technician

Amteck Technologies is currently looking to hire Technicians for our office in Dyersburg, TN. Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. What we are looking for:

• 2-3 years of verified experience with low voltage systems and cabling
• Knowledge of BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes for Low Voltage installations
• Able to travel to meet customer objectives when needed
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of customer relationships and the concept of customer satisfaction, with an aptitude for growing that skill

What you will be doing:

• Install, maintain, and repair devices and cabling of low voltage systems in commercial and industrial buildings
• Work independently to install pathways
• Understand and adheres to BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes for low voltage installations
• Understand and use wire maps
• Terminate data jacks and mod plugs
