BlueWater Federal is looking for an Access Control System Operator to support the JRTC program in Fort Johnson, LA.
The Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) provides realistic advanced collective training of Army light forces in joint operations scenarios emphasizing contingency force missions involving low to high-intensity conflict. The position supports ten (10) JRTC training rotations per year.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction process including systems drawings, physical security layout, and project Management
- Troubleshoot computer problems, perform hardware and software diagnostics, coordinate needed repairs, and resolve system deficiencies and malfunctions
- Provide support including programming, configurations, troubleshooting, and repairs of software issues on the JRTC Access Control System
- Manage the ongoing development of the various systems software, the development and maintenance of current systems graphics, and the configuration of security software for special applications as required
Qualifications
- Must have IAT Level-II (CCNA Security/ CompTIA Security+ CE Certification)
- Successful completion of a two-year technical electrical trade school, military training, or 3 years prior experience/apprenticeship in the Access Control field
- 2 + years’ experience with Symmetry Software
- Must have active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Must be able to manufacture and install various types of cables to include fiber, be able to trace cables, troubleshoot circuits, and Cisco switches and install Access Control devices
