Genomic Medicine Pathologist Position – University of Vermont Medical Center

Location: Burlington, Vermont

Our thriving institution is on the lookout for a combined Academic Genomic Medicine Pathologist with a preference for sub-specialty training in Hematopathology.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional Genomic Medicine services across various patient care areas including solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and germline testing.
  • Offer comprehensive diagnostic Hematopathology services, spanning histopathology to flow cytometry.
  • The clinical service ratio will be 75% Genomic Medicine and 25% Hematopathology.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary patient care.
  • Mentor and instruct medical students, residents, and pathology fellows.
  • Undertake scholarly activities that resonate with your professional interests.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board certification in Anatomic Pathology.
  • Board certification/eligibility in Molecular Genetic Pathology and Hematopathology.
  • Robust communication skills.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems is a bonus.
