Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to support field research and maintenance operations associated with the Center for Advanced Bioenergy and Bioproducts Innovation (CABBI) and the UIUC research farms. Duties & Responsibilities

• Enter and curate data in collaborative data management framework
• Conduct lab and field measurements of plants, soil and water
• Maintain Energy Farm field trials and infrastructure
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Crop Sciences or related disciplines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of field research techniques, specifically biomass sampling and phenology ratings•Knowledge and skill with Microsoft and R software, experience with elemental analysis of plant materials.•Operation of specialty research equipment to establish, maintain, and harvest research plots.•Current or able to acquire pesticide operators license for maintenance of research plots.

Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 11/1/2023. Salary is commensurate with experience.
