Job Description
This position is NOT for you if you don't have professional experience working with students and their families as an ADHD Coach, Executive Function Coach, Academic Coach, Counselor, Therapist, Special Education teacher, or similar position.
It is also NOT for you if you are looking for a short-term job that will serve as a stepping stone to your long-term career goals in another field or a fully remote position. This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in person in the Roswell area with clients.

Responsibilities & Expectations
As an Academic & ADHD coach, you will have an opportunity to make a positive difference in the day-to-day lives of students and their families by helping them earn better grades with less stress. Some examples of your responsibilities will include
- Meeting 1:1 with students for weekly coaching sessions
- Collaborating with students to create systems and strategies that will help them to reach their goals by improving their time management, organization, mindset, and study skills
- Identifying and planning the most important topics to cover in each session
- Writing and emailing session summaries to parents after meetings
- Checking in with students and parents by text or email between sessions
- Meeting with parents for check-in calls to discuss students' progress
- Monitoring students' grades and online progress reports
- Reaching out to students' teachers, counselors, and/or tutors, as needed
- Attending team meetings & continuing education sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, special education, counseling, psychology, student affairs, or a related field
- At least 2-4 years of professional experience in ADHD or Executive Function Coaching, academic coaching, study skills coaching, counseling, social work, or teaching
- Located in the Atlanta Metro area and able to meet with students in person at least three days per week in our Roswell office
- Available to meet with students for coaching sessions after school (4-8 pm) and on weekends

We are an Academic & ADHD coaching practice in the Atlanta area, which was founded in 2013 to help teens & young adults earn better grades with less stress by developing personalized strategies to improve their Executive Functioning skills and learn better strategies for studying, time management, organization, and stress management.
