Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records.
- Provide support and guidance to families in implementing behavior management strategies at home.
Skills:
- Ability to comfortably play and engage with young children. - Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Willingness to learn medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate medical documentation.
