Aba Line Technician

Do you love working with children? Have you ever wanted to be a teacher but not in the traditional sense? Are you always the one surrounded by kids at family events? If so, this might be the job for you.

This position may be a great opportunity for individuals with the following experience: nanny, babysitter, camp counselor.

Typical Job Duties:

• Work 1:1 and in small group with young children diagnosed with autism.
• Implement programs developed by a Licensed Behavior Analyst to teach children communication, social, early learner, and other daily living skills.
• Work as a team with other therapists and under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the classroom.

Work Schedule

• Typical work week 35 to 40 hours.
• Monday to Friday.
• No nights and No weekends.
• Must be available to stay until 5:00pm during training

Qualifications:

• Required: High school diploma. Preferred: Bachelors in a related field such as Family and Child Studies, Psychology, Education, Speech-Language Pathology, or Kinesiology.
• 1-year experience working with children.
• Strong verbal communication skills (speaking & listening) and strong interpersonal skills.
• No past criminal history.
• Reliable transportation & proof of auto insurance.

Salary:

• Degree: $16.00-$20.00
• Non-Degree: $14.00-$16.00
