What does success look like at The Helm?
- Follow customized plans for each client and keep track of their progress using electronic data collection methods.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Support families and parents by implementing evidence-based strategies that promote communication, reduce behaviors, and enhance the overall well-being of children and families impacted by autism.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Experience working with children
- Excellent teamwork with a desire to grow and support children and families affected by autism
- Vision and passion for seeing the best in all children
- Strong communication skills and work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
What are the essential job requirements?
- 1-year experience working with children
- Lift, carry, transfer, push or pull up to 40 pounds
- Walk, bend, squat, reach, crawl, and kneel
- Local travel during business hours may be required
