Aar Billing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an AAR Billing Specialist. As an AAR Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing billing transactions related to all railcar repair activities. This is a critical role that ensures accurate billing and timely payment for services rendered as well as providing excellent customer service.

Duties:

• Review and verify AAR documentation 9 Billing Repair Cards Etc..) for completeness and accuracy
• Enter billing information into the system accurately and in a timely manner
• Generate invoices and statements for clients based on AAR activities
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments
• Respond to client inquiries regarding billing discrepancies or payment issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing-related issues or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions and related documentation
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to AAR billing

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of AAR billing preferred
• Familiarity with AAR processes and terminology is required
• Proficient in using billing software or systems
• Proficient in using Excel and Adobe PDF formats
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Timely responsiveness to all communications
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced enviroment and meet deadlines on a consistent basis
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
