We are looking for a dispatcher to be part of our team of healthcare professionals. The job isn’t simple and it’s not for just anyone but for those who succeed, it is VERY rewarding to make such a positive difference in people’s lives!

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in demanding situations. You must be able to multi-task as well as exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
  • Use radio, phone, and computer to direct crews, vehicles, or other resources to appropriate locations
  • Monitor the status of field units throughout the call

  • Windows 10 proficient
  • Fast typing with experience in data entry
  • Ability to follow procedures and guideline for emergency situations

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shifts
  • Day and Night Shifts (goes by seniority, but hey, bring your friends and then you will rise in no time)
  • For being a great sport and working nights, we have a Night Shift differential!
  • Some holidays (unfortunately there are still emergencies on Christmas Day)
  • Weekends (you get every other Friday-Sunday off for those weekend getaways)
