Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking anEntry LevelMaster Scheduler to support our 767 PP&C team in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Extracting knowledge of manufacturing operating plans and translating those plans into appropriate systems and tools
  • Developing master schedules utilizing thorough understanding of scheduling processes, techniques and philosophies
  • Creates and distributes Master Schedule products (Firing Order, cycle projections, Number 1 flows, etc.)
  • Developing and executing new program/derivative schedules based on Number 1 flows with application of appropriate “delta flow” to account for various resource learning curves across the value stream
  • Analyzes impact of rate, new program and study scenarios to support program level decisions
  • Supporting schedule scenario assessments with the development of cost/risk benefit analysis summaries and recommendations for leadership approval
  • Representing the business systems in Change Boards, Communities for Actions (CfA) and workshops to promote continuous process improvement
  • Establishing strong working together relationships with partners across the entire value stream including engineering, supply chain, operations, factory/field, etc.
  • Acquires awareness of scheduling systems, tools and tasks
  • Limited use and application of basic sequence and relationships while under the direction of other analyst
  • Acquires awareness of how to interpret the customer product delivery sequence (firing order), explain information, and answer basic customer questions
  • Remains cognizant of the location of the products
  • Distributes or communicates delivery sequence data to customers
  • Limited awareness of scheduling processes, techniques and philosophies
  • Exposed to manufacturing operating plans and schedule data
  • Follows directions for routine work with close supervision of more experienced analyst
  • Acquire basic knowledge of principles and practices associated with railcars, sea vans and tool requirements
  • Acquire basic knowledge of principles and practices associated with tool and position requirements

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in master production scheduling
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Experience with data mining
  • Bachelors degree in business or engineering

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
