Role Summary:
The 508 Specialist III will lead in assessing, testing, and remediating digital products to ensure they meet Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead comprehensive accessibility reviews and provide consultative services to development teams, ensuring the incorporation of accessibility features in digital products.
· Design and execute test plans for a range of digital content, utilizing both manual and automated testing strategies to identify and address accessibility barriers.
· Serve as a primary tester and remediation expert, working with tools such as JAWS, NVDA, TalkBack, VoiceOver, and other assistive technologies.
· Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to promote best practices in accessibility among stakeholders and team members.
· Collaborate with executive teams to establish and refine accessibility testing processes, ensuring alignment with accessibility guidelines and standards.
Qualifications:
· Extensive experience in accessibility testing and remediation, with a deep understanding of Section 508 and WCAG standards.
· Proficiency in a variety of testing tools and assistive technologies, including but not limited to JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and automated testing software.
· Strong background in working with development teams to integrate accessibility into product design and development phases.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide actionable feedback.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced certifications in assistive technology applications, Agile software development, and trusted testing methodologies are highly desirable.

Pay: $49.00 - $50.00 per hour
