SALARY: Behavior Intervention Tutor salary $22.44-23.47 per hour
$23.33-$24.42 per hour with Bachelor's Degree
Assessment Specialist per hour $23.61- $24.72
$25.21- $26.43 per hours with Bachelor's Degree
Benefits
SCHEDULE: 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday
190 day - work year
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
*AA Degree or 2 years at an institution of higher education; BA preferred
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Ability to use a variety of computer software programs
*Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with staff, students, and patrons
*Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
*Ability to establish and maintain professional, cooperative working relationships
*Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record
*Must work within designated bound of authority and confidentiality
*Demonstrate and model above average language skills
*Experience in working with students
*Knowledge and successful implementation of strategies for working with students who lack behavioral skills or willingness to be trained
*Delivery of behavioral interventions, build relationships and assist the school staff to support students with behavioral health needs in partnership with families, community, and community service providers.
*Responsible for maintenance of accurate program records and working with supervisor to plan instruction.
*First Aid Card
*Ability to follow supervisory directions and employ personal initiative when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)
*Previous experience coordinating high school assessments and implementing
*Bilingual/Biliterate in Spanish/English
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assessment Specialist will coordinate and facilitate all aspects of state and district assessments at the building level.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assessment Specialist will coordinate and facilitate all aspects of state and district assessments at the building level.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees, coordinates, and administers appropriate and required testing of students as directed by administrator
- Maintains all state, district, school and program testing documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicates regularly with the administrator overseeing building assessments
- Works flexible hours during peak assessment windows
- Works in partnership with assessment paraeducators
- Distributes appropriate reports and data to staff in a timely manner
- Attends and participates in the district's monthly facilitator meetings as required
- Works within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality
- Collect and analyze student behavior data and monitor student academic and behavioral progress
- Assist students in meeting behavioral goals
- Support students in following their behavior plans
- Utilize de-escalation techniques consistently
- Provide reflection opportunities with students
- Provide reteaching opportunities within self-regulation and management
- Provide small group interventions for small groups as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned by the building principal
