3Rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor

Pride Now is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor! This is a direct hire position with one of our clients in Piscataway, NJ. Candidates must have prior sanitation experience preferably within the food manufacturing industry.

Shift: 3rd Shift (7pm-3:30am)

Pay: $60k-$65k annually

Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Report any Food Safety concern to the SQF Practitioner.
• Develop and/or maintain the Master Sanitation schedule for both equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate and monitor cleaning schedules.
• Create and distribute work schedules for the Sanitation team.
• Oversee the daily activities of the Sanitation team.
• Train and coach, the Sanitation team on Safety Policies and Sanitation Programs.
• Design, implement, and sustain Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s).
• Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Assist in the validation and documentation of SSOP’s.
• Perform daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and report any irregularities.
• Implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and company’s policies.
• Monitor the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Coordinate the services of contractors and external cleaning crews as needed.
• Maintain Sanitation Program to comply with regulatory authorities and third-party compliance.
• Review and document employee performance as per Company’s policies.
• Assist in third party Food Safety and Quality audits.
• Other jobs as assigned by the Senior Quality/Food Safety Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or similar field/work experience equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a Sanitation Supervisor
• Knowledge of the food industry preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
