They are looking for a multi-faceted maintenance person for one of their locations who has hydraulic production, troubleshooting, electronic press, pneumatics, and fabrication experience. Someone who has the ability to work with minimal supervision is ideal.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Record, log, and maintain required maintenance reports.
- Follow work orders, drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, and written and verbal instructions.
- Install new or relocate existing machinery, equipment, and other accessories.
- Installed, maintained, and repaired mechanical, hydraulic production, and service systems.
- Tear down, troubleshoot faulty operation, repair or replace worn or defective parts, and reassemble and adjust for proper operation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment, and facilities; install switches and lighting fixtures; replace fuses and faulty wiring.
- Maintain and repair plumbing, roofs, floors, walls, and parking facilities.
- Maintain grounds and keep outside facilities and structures in proper condition
- Repair plant and office structures and furnishings
- Use forklifts, pulleys, and other lift equipment as necessary to move and position parts and materials.
- Detect and report faulty equipment, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.
- Set up and operate mills, grinders, or drill presses, and other metal working tools to make and repair parts.
- Perform duties of electric/acetylene welding and torch cutting.
- Maintain all prescribed environmental, health, and safety rules/regulations. Exercise proper care and safety in the use of power tools, equipment, and materials.
- Will have the authority to stop the process if a safety or quality issue arises in order to inform supervision to make a decision.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate - Technical school certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
- Must be able to perform basic Math.
- Must be able to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience - preferably in molding operations.
- Experience operating mills, lathes, and drill presses to machine and/or repair components for molds and fixtures.
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime as needed.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- May require additional outside training classes or schooling.
- Must have good attendance and be reliable.
