Job Summary
The Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements.
Responsibilities
- Inspect products following company and industry standards
- Achieve inspection department targets
- Utilize different measuring tools, as well as perform calibration on inspection instruments
- Complete all paperwork associated with the job packet neatly and accurately following Smalley Good Documentation Practices
- Provide material handling support or any other function as needed
Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
- Experience working in a manufacturing or related environment
- Proven experience working as a Quality Control Inspector preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Knowledge/Expertise
- Measuring parts with precision instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical comparators, etc.
- Checking and performing calibration on inspection instruments
- Pass required on Inspection and English test
