3rd Shift Injection Molding Technician

AppleTree Staffing is partnering with a worldwide company that operates in 8 countries and has been in operation for over 60 years. Our client's North American operation in the South Johnson County area has experienced tremendous growth. As a result, they are currently seeking an Injection Molding Tech.

The Injection Molding Tech is responsible for maintaining the control of processes in Injection Molding; provides support to the execution of the production schedule including anything from component changes, setups and startup for both silicone and plastic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup injection molds and prepare the machine for production
• Perform resin and color changes
• Requiring a valid FL license and the ability to operate overhead cranes
• Support process technicians
• Perform quality checks
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read measuring devices, i.e., micrometer, vernier calipers, etc.
• Must possess a valid forklift license and have the ability to operate overhead cranes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with hand tools is required
• Good communication skills, written/verbal
• Great attendance record
• Solid work history
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
