We are growing and looking for ROCKSTARS for our team! What does a Rockstar get at ACCR?!?! Besides a great team to work alongside with multiple boops from many adorable pups, PTO, and Fringe Benefits.
Some tasks of this shift include:
- Detailed cleaning to keep our NEW facility in tip top shape
- Tucking in the dogs at night - letting out for potty / comforting and snuggling dogs afraid of storms
- Make sure all dogs have clean living areas
- Holding the characteristics of reliability, honesty, and trustworthiness
Sadly this shift isn’t all snuggles, but since we are on the move we do get our steps in. It is constant movement and lots (SERIOUSLY A LOT) of cleaning. We aren't the cleanest facility around without good reason. Good shoes and a great attitude help. You will need to step outside for very brief moments during Iowa’s cold polar vortex and hot humid summer weather and everything in between. Occasionally, you may need to give extra assistance to a sweet elderly 40 lb doodle to help them walk. We share this so all applicants are aware of minor outside work and lifting. Occasional holidays are required as we have pups 365 days of the year in our care. We are also accepting applicants by in-person application submission or resumes in our lobby, located at 650 51st Street, Marion, IA.
This position is for loving dogs THURSDAY through SATURDAY: 9:00 pm-6:00 am. Occasionally our other 3rd Shifter ask for a night off and vice versa. We are a team and help out of course. We do have lives outside of dogs sometimes :)

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
