We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a 3D Designer in our rapidly growing, venture-backed company. Candidates in this role will be working in the following capacity:
- Digitally designing flexible partial dentures with 3Shape Dental System
- Trimming, aligning, cleaning, and preparing models for 3D design and printing with 3Shape, Blender and Meshmixer
- QC 3D designs from 3rd party design centers
- QC analysis and part measurement (3D metrology) of finished prosthetics
- Some level of communication with customers by phone and email
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience producing 3D CAD designs in a dental laboratory.
- Proficient with 3Shape, Exocad and/or Blender.
- Attention to fine details.
- Problem solving skills to identify and correct improper design parameters.
- Ability to converse fluently in English.
- Excellent internal communication skills.
- Ability to learn in a fast paced ever changing environment to improve consistency and quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience and knowledge with flexible removable partial dentures.
- Knowledge on occlusion, Kennedy classification, and rules of retention and reciprocation as they apply to flexible partials.
