3D CAD Modeler (Junior to Mid Level)
SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business and has consistently been voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work. We are looking for a 3D CAD Modeler (Junior to Mid Level) to join our team. This individual will develop models that will be used for electromagnetic simulations of radio frequency propagation involving shipboard antennas. They will also create or update models for structure, equipment type, and locations for US Navy ships. Support scans of shipboard topside equipment and incorporation of scan data into the models.
Responsibilities: 
3-7 years of experience with performing 3D CAD parametric modeling using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor; Solidworks; Catia; and Pro-E.)
Experience with CAD data management processes
Experience with Navy ship topside design standards, including antenna numbering standards
Requirements:

Education:  HS Diploma or GED. A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is .
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Travel: None or amount of travel

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.  
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
