Our client, a well-established Advisory firm, is actively seeking an enthusiastic Junior Tax Accountant. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Tax Return Preparation: Support in the preparation and filing of tax returns under guidance, learning the nuances of accuracy and compliance.
Learn Financial Documentation Skills: Assist in compiling financial statements and documents, gaining skills in financial analysis supporting tax strategies.
Introduction to Tax Projections: Learn to develop basic tax estimates and projections under supervision.
Audit Support Training: Gain experience in assisting with federal and state tax audits.
Client Interaction Exposure: Develop professional client interaction skills, addressing client needs under supervision.
Engage in Regulatory Responses: Learn to respond to inquiries from clients and regulatory agencies.
Tax Research: Participate in tax research activities, staying informed about tax law changes.
Support Project Involvement: Provide support in various Audit, Tax, Discovery, and Assurance projects.
Learn Analysis and Strategy: Engage in basic variance analyses and learn about developing tax strategies.
Introduction to Financial Audits: Gain exposure to financial audit processes and support.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level position; prior experience in tax is beneficial but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required.
- Eagerness to learn and a strong interest in a career in taxation.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow in the tax field.
- Basic organizational and project management skills.
