2Nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor

Industrial Tube & Steel Corp. is currently looking for a motivated individual to fill a second Shift Warehouse lead position for its Kent, OH operation. This position is from the hours of 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, with the ability work overtime when needed. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership qualities, and preferred supervisor experience. ITS is a steel service center with a focus on distribution of steel tubing and pipe. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment. Any prior steel industry experience is extremely beneficial. Responsibilities

• This is a working lead position (50% on the floor, 50% in office)
• Help ensure all production and second shift is completing tasks efficiently and accurately on the floor
• Holding fellow co-workers on second shift accountable
• Communicate effectively with 2nd Shift Warehouse manager on nightly duties to ensure all orders are completed
• Enforce safety! Hold all of second shift accountable for maintaining a safe work environment
• Willingness and proactiveness to run bandsaws, forklifts, and overhead cranes to complete necessary tasks in an effort to help maximize efficiency
• Learning our inventory system - looking up material, orders, and any other necessary information
• Outlook - effectively communicating via email with fellow warehouse management and/or the sales department when needed as it pertains to fulfilling an order

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
