SUMMARY
The Putaway Driver takes stock from the receiving area to prime, reserve and selection locations throughout the DC
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates Reach Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) within the DC to move product from receiving to prime, reserve and selection bays.
- Prep cases or pallets to place product safely in prime or reserve location
- Operates a Man Up PIT which requires work to be performed at elevated heights.
- Picks up cases and places in location on shelving.
- Uses mounted RF unit and scanner
SKILLS / COMPETENCIES
- Comfortable with working at elevated altitude
- Able to read location labels and check digits at various heights throughout the DC
- Ability to safely operate a Powered Industrial Truck
- Able to achieve/maintain production and quality requirements
- Regular and Predictable Attendance
- Available to work scheduled hours to include overtime and weekends as required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, 75 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Ability to walk on concrete for a minimum of 8 hours per day
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Education Minimum: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience Minimum: Warehouse experience and/or power equipment experience
