What You'll Do:

Review production schedule for Gun drill and verify Shop Work Order (SWO) has operation to manufacture in-house.
Print out Set-up Sheet for next job (if applicable).
Gather all tooling listed on Set-up Sheet (as needed) for the next job.

GDIs
Whip Guides
Read and interpret blueprints, inspection sheets, setup instructions and router to determine operation to be performed.
Run production in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Remove burrs on all parts where required.
Use basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.) to perform quality checks on parts as outlined on inspection sheets.
Document any inspection requirements identified on the In-Process (IP) inspection sheet(s).
Maintain accurate counts for both completed and scrap parts.
Complete production paperwork and make required entries in the company ERP system.
After operator line clearance/equipment teardown, clean and return all items to the proper storage area.
Dispose of worn out tooling into proper container.
Perform required machine Preventative Maintenance tasks.
Participate in daily 5S activities.
Maintain drill performance by sharpening the drills at the proper intervals.
Follow and support all policies, procedures, goals, and objectives of Avalign Cutting Instruments (ACI).
All other duties as assigned.
