Position Summary: Follow standing operating procedures (SOPs) to keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.
Work Schedule Available:
- 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday, 3:45pm - 2:15am (Friday overtime can be required)
Essential Functions and Responsibilities to ensure the quality and safety of the product will include, but not be limited to:
- Maintain the cleanliness of the floors using tools such as mops, vacuums, and operating the floor scrubber.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and other surfaces using cleaners, sponges or squeegees.
- Clean amenities, equipment and other items in common areas.
- Service, clean and supply restroom.
- Gather and empty trash and recyclables.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions.
- Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Maintains necessary records.
- Reports to work regularly and on time.
- Perform duties safely and to report unsafe conditions or actions.
- Assists in other duties as needed and directed.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Skilled in monitoring for quality.
- Demonstrate customer service, active listening, attention to detail, and problem sensitivity.
- Ability to read written instruction and communicate with others while maintaining confidentiality.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Must occasionally lift 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, use hands and arms, and smell. May need to climb or balance.
- Specific sensing abilities required by this job include near vision and manual dexterity.

Work Environment: characteristic of an FDA regulated manufacturing facility. Personal Protective equipment may be worn in certain situations.
- The employee is regularly exposed to noise, and to airborne particles, including some allergens.
- Completion of duties must be done within an allotted time which may create a sense of time pressure to meet deadlines.
