CNC Set Up Programmer
Full-time | Manufacturing | Location - Grayslake, IL | Shift- 2:00 pm - 12:30 am Monday - Thursday

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You'll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:

• Perform a variety of tasks associated with the manufacturing and operations using a CNC controlled Lathe and or Mill and cutting using a wide variety of machine shop tools and equipment.
• Create complex CNC programs independently of new parts and amend existing programs
• Program and set up all machines in assigned department
• Process routing operations following standardized methods rates and processes
• Present parts for specified inspection and to inspect parts with measuring tools to insure integrity and quality of parts.
• Generally meets and exceeds productivity and accuracy goals
• Provide reliable solutions to moderately complex problems
• Identifies, researches and resolves basic and/or moderately complex issues
• Offer suggestions to improve processes and/or systems
• Work collaboratively team members to achieve balanced scorecard objectives
• Work professionally and in a positive and respectful manner with other TVH departments
• Adheres to attendance policy, maintaining an acceptable attendance record
• Demonstrates compliance with safety policies, procedures and guidelines including proficiently maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Apply TVH's Mission, Vision, and Values and exhibits enthusiasm for and a desire to see TVH succeed

HOW TO SUCCEED
We're looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

• 18 + years of age
• The ability to read, write, and speak English
• Prior experience with programming and setup for CNC Setup Lathe and or Mill and cutting using a wide variety of machine shop tools and equipment.
• Demonstrates comprehension and ability to learn moderately complex functions in areas of specialization
• Demonstrates proficiency to research and resolve issues of moderate complexity
• Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with prior experience in working collaboratively across teams and departments
• Demonstrates proficient organizational, time management and follow up skills
• Must be team oriented and possess a positive attitude with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others
• Demonstrates a desire and commitment to promote and share the TVH mission, vision, values and culture
