Role and Responsibilities:
Full Time position supporting the CEC Task Order filling the logistician position. Duties include: system engineering, test analysis, configuration management, integrated logistics support, and technical documentation support. The position is located at Port Hueneme, CA.
Position Duties:
• Either Associate's degree and minimum of 4-6 years of experience or no degree with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience supporting naval weapon systems or combat systems.
• Must be able to provide technical editing and authoring assistance and configuration management expertise during the development process of CEC Technical Directives (TD) and Engineering Changes (EC).
• Must be able to provide coordination of NSWC PHD review comments for CEC Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Ship Change Documents (SCD).
• Must be able to provide updates to databases for CEC changes.
• Must be able to provide updates to and publish CEC upgrade installation plans.
• Must be able to prepare action items, track completion assigned at CM meetings, and provide In-Process Action reports.
• Must be able to identify and resolve logistics discrepancies and track and source all high priority requisitions.
• Must be able to apply CM/logistics processes for documentation updates/revisions and change control management.
• Must be able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians, and Logisticians.
• Must be able to manage inventory and coordinate shipments of crucial equipment required for mission success.
• Must be able to provide input in support of development, submission, and completion of SCDs in the NAVSEA database - Navy Data Environment (NDE).
• Must be able to provide research and submit Configuration Overhaul Planning (COP) data via the Configuration Data Manager Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).
• Must have a valid driver's license with own transportation and able to travel (0 -10%).
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete background check and get a government clearance.
• Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed technical monthly reports.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• US Navy A/C School
