The Doodie Soldiers are a service company, founded in 2008. We are currently seeking to fill 1 full time position inside our family owned business. We expect to fill this position with a high quality, friendly, motivated team member who loves to serve others, who loves to be around dogs and who wants an enjoyable, fulfilling, career opportunity. This is not a job for everyone but, if you are a hard worker, not squeamish, love working with dogs, enjoy being outdoors (all year long) and are an independent worker, this job can be enjoyable and rewarding.
Responsibilities and Duties
Poop Scooping Technician Daily Responsibilities:
Drive to yard, enter yard safely, interact with dogs and occasionally a client, clean the yard properly, log job info, and drive to the next yard. Simple and enjoyable but requires a high degree of independence, responsibility, customer service, great communication and attention to detail as well as safety.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal Scoop Technician Must:
Be able to lift and carry bags weighing up to 20 pounds.
like to be around dogs and able/willing to enter yards with some dogs that may be "barky" but not mean. (if you are afraid of dogs, please do not apply).
Want to be engaged and grow with us. Our Purpose is to "Enjoy Serving Pets, Their People and Each Other".
Be available during the daylight hours Monday - Friday and some weekends when necessary.
Be willing and able to deliver excellent customer service.
Be comfortable interacting with new people.
Be able to do a lot of walking (extensive walking!).
Like to work alone - but will need to be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a respectful, friendly, and professional manner.
Know or be able to quickly learn how to read city maps, use maps on your phone, or use GPS.
Like being outdoors in ALL types of weather. We scoop in the cold, heat, rain, sleet, snow, etc.
Be 18+ years old.
Have personal cell phone for communication.
Have a reliable vehicle. You will drive roughly 25 miles per day with reimbursement (Reimbursement of $0.50 per mile to start).
Have auto insurance and a valid drivers license.
Be willing to take and pass drug screen.

$20.00 an hour to start + mileage reimbursement ($0.50 per mile).
