Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems Test & Integration Engineers for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Buffalo, NY.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Navigation, Targeting & Su-rvivability (NT&S) Division.
As a Systems Engineering Integration & Test Engineer at the Buffalo NY site, the individual would responsible for integration and performing acceptance testing on our Combat Electromagnetic Environmental Simulators (CEESIM) used in the testing of military radars, radar warning receivers, and jamming systems.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside with highly talented and skilled Design Engineers, Program Managers, manufacturing and other support departments.
Specific duties include:
During the initial stages of integration you would program any COTS equipment and configure the CEESIM
Perform RF calibrations and Fault testing utilizing automated CEESIM SW
Perform RF verifications by running CEESIM SW and measuring the signals at RF
Perform Factory Acceptance Testing
Perform Customer On-site Acceptance Testing
Basic Qualifications
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2024.
Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a closely related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2024.
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Knowledge of or experience with the use of test equipment (eg. Oscilloscope, Power meter, frequency counter, Spectrum analyzer, etc.)
PreferredQualifications:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
Knowledge with any SW languages (eg. Linux, MATLAB, C++, Python, Java, etc.)
Educational background or experience with Radio Frequency (RF), Electronic Warfare (EW) principles
Familiarity with Test equipment (eg. Oscilloscope, Power meter, frequency counter, Spectrum analyzer, etc.)
Intern Pay Range:
Bachelor's: $22.50 to $27.75 per hour
Master's: $33.00 to $34.75 per hour

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
