QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher's License
- Hold or be eligible for a Health and Medical Sciences Education endorsement
- Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, and families
- Demonstrated ability to be dependable and punctual
- Graduated from an approved program of study for the preparation of health care professionals (RN, LPN, CNA, etc.)
- Have strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified to teach Nurse Aide courses based on Virginia Board of Nursing requirements
- Previous teaching experience
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences or in the medical field
- Eligibility and experience with dual enrollment
