1st Shift, Tool and Die Helper $24/hr

Willing to train!!! Metal fab. Shop Seeks LOADERS (Loading metal parts)
Schedule: 5am to pm to 3:30 Mon-Sat (Sat may be only 8 hrs).
Starting pay = $24/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, maintain, and repair tooling and fixtures to support production operations.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop efficient tooling solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in tooling operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Knowledge of machining processes, including milling, turning, and grinding.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Mechanical aptitude is a must. Experience Machine operation, grinding and tool and die cutting a plus. is needed. 2-3 years in a working with metal in a manufacturing setting is desired. Ability to learn quickly and run multiple machines.

This is a Metal Fab Plant. Must be able to work in the hot & cold. The plant is usually not far off from the outside temperatures. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team. Must be able to work overtime regularly including weekends. Steel toed shoes/boots are required and pants not shorts must be worn. You must be able to lift up to 60lbs by hand. Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
