What You'll Do
As a Planner you'll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team located in Skokie, IL. You'll get to:
  • Develops and maintains production schedules in JDE system in support of productivity and customer delivery requirements.
  • Works with management to organize schedule changes due to backlogs, customer requirements, and material/labor shortages.
  • Monitor / track production output to ensure production plans are on schedule.
  • Work with Supervisors to mitigate customer impact when the production plan is not on schedule.
  • Maintenance of the JDE system and key scheduling/buying parameters
  • Report out/support key operation metrics:
    • OTD
    • Schedule attainment
    • Inventory turns
    • Safety Stocks
    • E&O reduction
  • Issue and maintain production work order and Purchase Orders in support of the production requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels for production requirements while maximizing inventory turnover.
  • Report and take immediate action on all material shortages.
  • Identify improvement and cost savings opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM), a division of Stanley Black & Decker, is a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments. Prikos and Becker, a CAM company, is located in Skokie, IL.

  • 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Function effectively in a team environment
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to initiate and implement improvements.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrable effective planning skills to achieve specific goals.
  • ASCM (APICS) or similar supply chain certification preferred.
