We are looking for a dynamic General Labor associate with a passion for food safety and a desire to develop relationships with team members through exceptional care, positive communication, and a genuine interest in our team, the products we produce, and the customers we serve. General Labor associates play a big role in the day-to-day operation and are essential in ensuring the customer receives consistent quality product in a timely manner to meet the customer needs.
Perfect Ingredients for Success: High school diploma or GED, food manufacturing experience, can do and willing to learn attitude.
What You Make: $17/hr. Full-time (non-exempt) 4/10's work schedule (Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm)
THE DAILY GRIND (Here are a few more details on what you can expect.)
Handle and package high-quality food products in accordance with current food safety standards and regulations.
Read manufacturing orders and perform work as assigned by production supervisors and/or line leads.
Inspect and record product information for Quality/Food Safety paperwork.
Follow a production schedule with the foresight to adapt to new needs in order to meet customer and production requirements.
Adhere to GMP guidelines outlined by the company.
Properly rotate product inventory to ensure freshness and reduce obsolete inventory.
Attach appropriate labels and materials to products and packages.
Package finished goods into correct packaging and boxes.
Perform cleaning of the lines and master sanitation tasks as needed.
Ability to work on all lines within production.
Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance to Food Safety, OSHA, and company standards.
High School diploma or GED.
Passion for continued education in the whole food industry.
Attention to detail.
Excels at time management.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
The majority of work is performed in a climate-controlled warehouse and food manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position may require the employee to bend at the waist, crouch or stoop, and lift items at ground level. The position involves frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds for long periods of time throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform tasks such as completing paperwork and operating a computer terminal. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job as all equipment and job duties are conducted on-site in a food manufacturing facility. This position may involve exposure to potential allergens.
