- Operate a doublewide pallet-handling forklift truck. Change forklift batteries and fill with water as needed.
- Operate a floor scrubber.
- Monitor inventory as production is completed and stores in warehouse. Complete all verification paperwork required to document correct inventory.
- Ability to operate a computer and bar code scanning equipment required.
- Complete all duties associated with case picking.
- Complete all duties associated with layer picking.
- Complete all duties associated with shipping and loading trailers.
- Must be flexible to work hours of all production lines.
- Follow good housekeeping practices, and comply with safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist other Forklift Operators as needed.
- Possess an attitude of pride in performance of work, be self-motivated and show continual improvement in job performance.
- Requires education as normally acquired in high school or equivalent with coursework in Basic English and shop mathematics.
- Ability to complete Forklift Operator's training course and successfully pass test to obtain a Forklift Operator's license.
- Previous experience with forklift truck is helpful, but not necessary.
- Requires ability to lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Requires ability to communicate with management and other employees. Must possess legible handwriting skills.
- Must be able to work under a minimum of supervision.
