1St Shift Die Cutter

Nesco Resource is looking for a Die Cutter located in Bethel, CT. This is a 3-month temporary assignment for the right candidate.
Pay: $22-$24/Hour based on Experience
Shift: 7AM-3:30PM
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Select die work to be performed as prioritized by the supervisor or due dates, in order to fulfill daily production requirements.
• Use specialized equipment, including microscope, ultrasonic ripping and polishing machines, wire shaping, polishing and sizing machines, and carbide die sizing and polishing machines.
• Follow written and verbal procedures for refurbishing used dies to original specifications.
• Collect drawing dies needing refurbishing and return when completed. Record all pertinent information.
• Maintain daily production sheets.
• Maintain good communication with supervisor by keeping him/her informed of quality, maintenance, and safety or productions issues.
• Obtain supervisory approval for any deviations from standard procedures. Maintain order and cleanliness in work area.
• Observe all safety rules and environmental regulations.

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role or environment for 3 years is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Possess a positive attitude, good work ethic and is reliable.
• You are a team player that works well with others.
