Form of workWe are looking to hire a 1st Shift Custodial Worker to join our Luxco team in St. Louis, MO. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing facility with office spaces. Primary duties include cleaning/sanitizing work areas, proper disposal, and minor maintenance tasks.
What will you do?
- Maintain floor cleanliness by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and/or waxing.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms. Refill necessary supplies as needed.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles and dispose of trash into compactor/ dumpster.
- Collect cardboard and plastic film for recycling.
- Safely operate custodial equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuums, balers, and trash compactors.
What do you need to bring to the table?
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs overhead.
- Ability to stand, walk, or bend for extended period.
- Capable of climbing ladders and working from heights.
