This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Multi-pass; all position fillet and butt welds using the following process: SMAW, GMAW, and GMAWP
Heating oxygen/propane heating torch
Air Carbon Arc gouging
Requirements:
Familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to shipbuilding industry
Ability to use fillet and butt weld gauges
Able to Pass Various Weld Tests
Experience working in a physically demanding environment, shipboard sub-assemblies;, ladders, staging, etc.
