194: Vba/Sql Developer

Our client, a well-connected leader in the housewares space, is looking for a strong VBA SQL Developer to join their IT team developing and support an on-premise environment. This role will facilitate the continued growth of a company that is already one of the biggest players in its field yet still operates like a close-knit family business.

THE WORK: The chosen candidate will participate in the design, implementation, and management of our client’s on-premise front-end and back-end data environments. In addition to building financial analysis reports with VBA, this role includes database design, building desktop applications, reporting services, and collaborating with ERP and EDI teams for the development of new features and integration solutions.

LOCATION: This client’s IT offices are located in the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Brooklyn, NY. The team operates on-site Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays. Therefore, fully remote work is not an option for this role.

MODE: This is a permanent, full-time position.

REQUIRED: Applicants must be very strong in the following skills:

• VBA Excel

• SQL

• .NET experience

• ERP systems (AMT preferred)

In addition, we’re looking for candidates who want a stable, long-term role.

DESIRED: In addition, it would be great if you had some background in:

• C and Python for EDI Translations

• Cloud platforms

• Network engineering

• Fashion or homewares experience

COMPENSATION: This client is offering a salary of around $100K/yr, depending on experience, in addition to a competitive benefits package.
