**MUST HAVE FLOORING EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE**
Position Details:
- Position Title – Floor Maintenance Technician
- Hours – 40 hours or less per week depending on the assignment
- General Location - Ridgeville, SC
- Compensation – $18.00 Per Hour
- Facility type: Industrial Building
- Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm
General Duties:
- Responsible for the Floor Maintenance of hard surfaces and carpets (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting) of areas that include offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas
- Applies stripper to floors to remove old wax then refinishes floors with the new wax product.
- Vacuuming, restroom cleaning, window cleaning, dusting, trash disposal, emergency requests, and many other miscellaneous cleaning duties.
- Standing, walking, and bending will be required for all job duties for the entire shift.
- Must be hardworking, reliable, customer service-oriented, friendly, professional, and a team player.
- PPE REQUIRED on manufacturing floor:
- Steel toed shoes
- Basic cut resistant sleeves
- Basic suspension cap
- Eye protection
Nails: Not to extend beyond the length of the finger (including artificial Nails) Neatly Trimmed & Cleaned
Hair/beards: At or below shoulder length must be tied up and secured. Ponytails should not be longer than shoulder level. Facial Hair below shoulder length must be secured. Hair accessories must be properly secured and not mutilating.
Earrings: Single Post or stud Earrings • Nothing that dangles below the earlobe (Gauges Included)
Badges: badges and lanyards will be provided by security; Badges should be tucked away when in production areas
No watches on the production floors at all
Requirements:
- Personal cell phone
- Reliable transportation
- Pass a criminal background check. We background check ALL potential employees.
- Lift 35 lbs, carry full trash bags, operate and lift janitorial equipment, lift and stock janitorial supplies.
- LOTS OF WALKING through multiple buildings
- Speak, read and write English
