SalaryStrategic Kids is looking for candidates who have one-on-one experience with special needs children.
JOB DESCRIPTION
✓ Each Strategic Kids Student Aide works after school one-on-one (1:1) with a special needs elementary school student (TK - 2nd grade) with autism, learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and/or other health impairments.
✓ Must have experience with students eloping, non-verbal children, and toileting/changing diapers.
✓ The Student Aide will help do a variety of tasks, such as helping their assigned student with homework, playing games with their assigned student, and monitoring their assigned student during breaks on the playground to keep them safe at all times.
WORK SCHEDULE
✓ All jobs are Monday to Friday!
✓ M - F (11:00am - 5:00pm) | 6 hours per day
✓ M, T, Th, F (2:00pm - 5:00pm) & W (1:00pm - 5:00pm) | 3 or 4 hours per day

An elementary school located in Irvine
EXPERIENCE
Strategic Kids Teacher Aide applicants must enjoy being around children and have experience working or volunteering with children, such as babysitting or helping in classrooms.
CHARACTER TRAITS
Strategic Kids hires staff that are positive, joyful, flexible, responsible, on-time, and willing to drive to their assigned school site(s).
REQUIREMENTS
✓ 18 years old or older
✓ Speak English
✓ Being bilingual in any language is also a huge plus!
✓ Have a current driver's license and your own vehicle (car) to drive to assigned school(s)
✓ Live within 15 miles from assigned school(s) in Orange County
✓ Pass Live Scan Fingerprints through Dept. of Justice (paid for by Strategic Kids)
✓ Work assigned schedule or any modifications

ABOUT STRATEGIC KIDS
Strategic Kids hires and trains energetic and creative people and places them in K-12 public schools to work as K-12 Support Staff/Paraeducators at schools from Mission Viejo to San Clemente to meet the various needs of schools and districts.
