Role Purpose Statement
We are seeking an entrepreneural, innovative and strategic leader for the role of Head of Commercial Retail, Americas Region, to drive the growth and profitability of our Convenience retail business segment. In this dynamic position, you will have full profit and loss responsibility, overseeing all operational and customer service activities. You will play a pivotal role in developing global operations and quality standards for convenience retail. This position will be based at our Americas headquarters in Irving, TX.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- University degree in finance, business, or related disciplines.
- 7-10 years of experience in managing a multinational matrix organization,
- Proven exposure and experience in an international environment with intercultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build business relationships and interact with customers
- Skillful in handling all stakeholder groups and creating networks
- Solid experience in leading and motivating international teams and Change Management

Main Accountabilities
- Leading business development initiatives by seeking new partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities for growth. Identify potential markets, evaluate expansion options, and negotiate strategic alliances or acquisitions to drive business growth
- Fostering key partnerships, executing M&A projects, and curating a robust product and services portfolio
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Actively contribute to the formulation of the Americas regional strategy and engage in key strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with global objectives.
- Translate regional strategy into actionable plans, defining local priorities and targets in collaboration with functional leaders
- Responsible for the segment's profit and loss, ensuring adherence to safety, health, environmental, and global operations quality guidelines, as well as local regulations. Execute global processes and standards efficiently, managing operations to achieve budget targets
- Drive economic and operating performance, collaborating with regional functional leaders (e.g. Finance, HR, Quality) to ensure efficient management and control of operations
- Identify market requirements in terms of IT, infrastructure, and supply chain, providing proactive feedback to functional leaders for continuous process improvement
- Define global standards in operations and quality for the Convenience retail market, focusing on process optimization
- Foster strong relationships with local authorities and partners, including potential joint venture partners
