JOB OBJECTIVE: To repair and maintain plumbing systems, maintains all light to medium roofing repairs, maintain and installs lighting fixtures for buildings and facilities at the Little Rock Zoo.
Please go HERE to access the complete job description, including the essential functions of this position.These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of vocational technical school course in plumbing systems, three (3) years of Plumbing experience; two (2) years of experience in the repair of roofs, building maintenance trade, or related area; one year (1) of lead worker experience, or related experience; one (1) year of personal computer experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT (S):
Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
Must obtain the confined space entry permit through Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) within six (6) months of employment and maintain permit for the duration of employment in this position.
Must obtain forklift certification within one (1) year of employment and maintain for the duration of employment in this position.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays and subject to on-call and callback as required.
