Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer/ Lead.

Location: Permanent Remote.

Duration: Long Term contract.

POSITION 1: Lead Java Developer: Required Skills: Java8, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST/ RESTful APIs, Kubernetes/ Any Cloud, React.JS.
PROJECT: We're creating a modern application to design and process member materials. This will end up supporting thousands of files and millions of members. This system will interface with multiple source systems. We're moving to a real-time, streaming architecture composed of microservices. Some of the technologies we're leveraging include React, Java SpringBoot, Kafka, Postgres, Splunk, Grafana, Jenkins and Azure.
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience working with Java Microservices.
* 1+ years React development
* 2+ years of experience implementing complex, large-scale streaming architectures in a flexible environment.
What experience will set candidates apart from one another? A full stack engineer having strong experience with modern technologies (microservices and streaming) along with being approachable to other team members.
We're looking for a hands-on strong senior technical engineer with experience working in modern technologies and a proven background delivering products on time and on budget. Someone able to encourage, support and, at times, correct development teams in a way that promotes growth and velocity. We're looking for someone who can get into the weeds while still being able to see the forest through the trees (as well as being able to work with clich s!)
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing guidance on technical implementations
Technical solution analysis and recommendations, including timeline estimates
Framework development
Significant hands-on coding
Mentoring other team members
Required Qualifications:
Java experience
Kafka, or similar, streaming experience
Advanced web development experience
Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience as a senior/principal software engineer
1+ years of experience working with Microservices and both SQL and NoSQL database technologies
1+ years of experience implementing complex, large-scale architectures in a flexible environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct leadership experience (including duties such as performance reviews, productivity reviews, metrics reporting, etc)

POSITION 2: Sr. Java Developer: Required Skills: Java8, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST/ RESTful APIs, Kubernetes/ Any Cloud, React.JS.

What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)? Full-Stack Engineer with Java and React experience as well as healthcare eligibility experience.
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
Serve as a primary IT Dev resource for medium-size projects to large-size projects
Act as a DevOps Full Stack engineer.
Build, Deploy and test API services
Monitor/Stabilize/Automate API services
What skills/attributes are required:

• Bachelors degree or higher.
• 5+ years of work experience in Development role.
• Experience in coding for web services and/or React UI web applications (Backend and frontend)
• Java
• Microservice development and deployment

What skills/attributes are preferred:
Java SPRING Boot, Postgres, SPLUNK, Grafana
Cloud services and framework knowledge.
Openshift, Kubernetes.
Kafka
JUNIT,JMETER and other testing experience.
JSON knowledge.
Rally , SOAP UI, Postman
CI/CD Knowledge with integration with Jenkins
